Carson CIty woman faces embezzlement charges against an elderly person
A Carson City woman faces two felony charges after being arrested on a confirmed warrant.
The woman, Leza L. Bulman, was arrested Wednesday at her home in the 200 block of Corbett. She faces a warrant charge of exploiting an elderly person and embezzlement of a person over the age of 60. Both are felonies. Bail was set at $3,000.

— A Carson City man faces felony drug trafficking charges after authorities found him in a van smoking marijuana and then admitting to them that he had methamphetamine in the vehicle.
Ryatt Erickson, 38, was arrested Tuesday in the 1500 block of Nevada Street.
According to the arrest report, Erickson was sitting in the driver's seat of a van. When confronted by officers, he admitted to smoking marijuana and told officers he had marijuana and methamphetamine in the van and gave authorities consent to retrieve the suspected drugs, the arrest report states.
Authorities found about five grams of meth and less than one ounce of marijuana, a glass methamphetamine pipe and a marijuana pipe, according to the arrest report.
Erickson faces charges of felony drug trafficking (4 to 14 grams) and felony possession of a controlled substance. He faces disdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $20,000.
— A Carson City man faces a felony drug charge and a gross misdemeanor child endangerment charge after allegedly smoking meth and passing out while an infant was left sleeping in another room.
Larry Lee Mazio, 34, was arrested on Wednesday in the area of 20 College Parkway. His bail was set at $6,864.
According to the arrest report, officers responded to the apartment complex after there was a report of a burglary in progress. Officers made contact with a woman who stated that she left her four-month-old daughter with a male subject for about 40 minutes and that she couldn't get back into her apartment because she forgot her keys. She had tried numerous attempts to get in, knocking, ringing the door bell and calling inside with negative results, according to the police report.
A locksmith was called and the door was unlocked. Officers observed the suspect, slumped over on a couch approximately five feet away from the front door. Deputies called out to Mazio numerous times and had no response. He was shaken and there was no response. On the coffee table officers observed a glass pipe with burnt meth inside and the apartment had a burning odor, according to the arrest report.
Deputies stood Mazio up and placed him in handcuffs. While doing this he began to wake up. Deputies located the baby in the bedroom laying on the bed awake with a bottle next to her. The man admitted to owning the glass pipe, was placed into custody and was put in a patrol car, the arrest report stated.
The man was transported to the jail. While exiting the patrol car an officer noticed a round container near Mazio's feet. He stated that he was surprised it didn't fall out earlier and that it was inside of his shoe. Mazio stated that it was his meth. A subsequent search at jail recovered a bag of marijuana and a small bag of meth, the arrest report stated.
