Gaming Control Board files complaint against AA Gaming, license holder of High Sierra Brewery
Nevada Gaming Control Board has filed a complaint against AA Gaming and owner Alan H. Adams, which operates 17 slot machines at High Sierra Brewery, for failure to submit reports about changes in personnel at the establishment.
According to the complaint, AA Gaming did not submit required reports to the board from the time the company received its gaming license in June 2008 to present.
At the time the license was issued, the establishment was doing business as Doppelganger's, owned by Adams, former co-owner of the Carson Nugget.
The business later came under the ownership of Jim Phalan, who renamed it High Sierra Brewery. However, the gaming license is still under AA Gaming.
The board alleges that AA Gaming was repeatedly notified about the missing reports.
AA Gaming is charged with five violations of the state's gaming laws, and faces fines of $25,000 to $250,000 for each count.
