Liz Penniman has shown in galleries in New York, London, San Francisco, Houston, and throughout Texas and California. Her artistic roots are influenced by the San Francisco Bay Area Figurative Movement, and her education at the Art Student's League of New York focused first on classical portraiture and later on abstract expressionism. She currently lives and works in the North Tahoe/Truckee area and participates in The Reno Art Salon and Critique Circle.
