US Air Force Travis Brass to present free Carson City concert Sept. 16
Travis Brass, the resident brass quintet of the US Air Force Band of the Golden West from Travis AFB, Calif., will present a free concert on Sunday, Sept. 16th at 4 pm at the Carson City Community Center. Travis Brass consists of five full-time active duty professional musicians working in support of Air Mobility Command and the US Air Force. From a standard march or traditional brass composition to jazz, ragtime and patriotic selections, Travis Brass’ diverse repertoire covers a myriad of styles with something to please everyone.
The free concert will begin at 4 pm on Sunday, September 16th at the Carson City Community Center's Bob Boldrick Theater, 851 East Williams Street, Carson City. While the concert is free, tickets are required for entry. You can pick up your free tickets at the Carson City Aquatic Facility, 841 North Roop Street in Carson City.
