SNC Tahoe Wins Lacrosse Division Finals For Second Year
Sierra Nevada College Men’s Lacrosse Team won the Mens Collegiate Lacrosse Association’s WCLL Division II Tournament yesterday, defeating #2 seed UC Davis 18-3, which means they will play in the MCLA national championships for the second year in row, beginning Monday, May 9. Their first game will be at UC Irvine against North Dakota State at 11 am.
Senior Jack Witt was WCLL Tournament MVP and Defensive Player of the Year for the conference.
Head Lacrosse Coach Matt Blamey commented: “Keeping the WCLL Championship in Tahoe was a big goal of ours this year. I couldn't be more proud of our guys for all of their hard work and commitment to the program. We enjoyed yesterday’s win, and now it's time to get back to work. We have a lot more that we want to accomplish at the MCLA National Tournament.”
