Carson Chamber Singers Begin Rehearsals for Spring Concert
Carson Chamber Singers, conducted by Michael Langham will begin rehearsals on Tuesday, March 22, 16 6:30 p.m., at the Carson High School Choral Room, 1111 N. Saliman Road, in Carson City for a pair of concerts in May. This year the Singers are going to Broadway, with a line-up of favorite Broadway show tunes.
Carson Chamber Singers was founded in 1985 as the select choral group of the Carson City Symphony. They have performed throughout northern Nevada, including the Tahoe area and Sacramento, CA. They have sung with the Carson City Symphony and the Reno Philharmonic Chorus and Orchestra. The Spring concerts will be held on Friday, May 6 at the CVIC Hall In Minden, and on Tuesday, May 10 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church n Carson City. The Chamber Singers is auditioning singers in all sections, particularly tenors and bases.
