Special guest stars appear on Carson City community radio drama
Secrets of Harridge House, popularly referred to as “North Nevada’s Original Radio Drama,” is taking a break from the main storylines of the current season. Starting on Sunday, KNVC 95.1 FM will air and stream live a special trilogy of episodes that delve into origins of Josiah Harridge, the town of Harridge, Nevada, and Harridge House itself.
“We’re excited to tell this story,” says Scott Young, the show’s Executive Producer. Up to now, we’ve only heard mentions of some of the characters we’ll meet in these episodes, like Greta Strombriar (played by Victoria Kochanek) and Josiah’s three sons, Levi, Joe and Eli (played respectively by Hutch Dano, Samuel Vsetula and Aaron Franke). “Our listeners will learn how Josiah became the man (or ghost!) he is today.”
To make this event even more special, the producers of Secrets of Harridge House brought in four impressive guest stars. Australian actor Morrison James appears as James Lawson, the grandfather of Sheriff Ben Lawson in the show; former Disney Channel kid Hutch Dano appears as Lee Harridge; actor David Sheinkopf, whose credits include the new CW show I Met My Murderer Online, plays Thomas Cypher; and veteran stage and film actress Patricia Conolly, who recently appeared on Broadway in To Kill a Mockingbird, appears as Miss Rebecca Reilly. Several members of the regular cast, including Michon Chandler, Geoff Moore, Asher Honor Hwang and Melanie Johnson, also appear in the trilogy, revealing more about their connections to the Harridge family.
Secrets of Harridge House is produced by KNVC 95.1 FM, Carson City’s Community Radio Station, Proscenium Players, Inc. and Diaz Media Group. New episodes air every Sunday night at 9:00 PM PST. Listeners can also listen via live streaming at KNVC.org, and the show is also available on all the popular podcasting apps, with new episodes being posted every Saturday. Remember, please don’t reveal the Secrets of Harridge House!
