Support kids affected by cancer: Votes encouraged for UNR to get new Camp Kesem
The University of Nevada, Reno’s Camp Kesem club has been chosen as one of 12 colleges and universities from across the United States to compete to be one out of five schools to be chosen to start a new Camp Kesem chapter in their local area. Camp Kesem is a nationally recognized organization that helps family affected by cancer.
As a chapter in this program, UNR is will be able to provide a week long summer camp for kids who have been affected by cancer in the Greater Nevada area as well as parts of Northern California, free of charge to the families.
UNR’s goal is to get 10,000 votes by midnight of Friday, Jan. 31, 2020. You can vote once per day, per email, all you need is an active email address.
