Carson City's Catmandu introduces their Kitties of the Week: Mac n Cheese
Are you looking for the perfect pair of kitties? Look no further than Mac n Cheese. These youngsters are playful, loving, and inseparable.
Just under 11 months old, they are both neutered short-haired boys, microchipped and up to date on their vaccines. A pair of green-eyed sweeties, Mac is black and Cheese is a beautiful blue gray. Mac is the more outgoing of the two, making friends quickly and easily. Cheese takes a little longer to trust and warm up to strangers, but once he knows you, he is every bit as sweet and loving as his buddy Mac.
These boys are the perfect age. Past the curtain climbing, chewing and destructive stage of kittenhood they are still very playful and fun. They love to play with wand toys, springs, balls, and laser toys. They also really enjoy pets, love and attention from people.
Mac n Cheese do well with dogs and other cats. They would be fine in a home with older children, but would not do well with small children. Although they are now very friendly and fully domesticated, they were born feral and still scare easily from loud noises or fast sudden movement. The pictures don’t do them justice. It’s hard to get good pics of them as they are not fans of the camera and are usually in motion. If you are looking for a fun pair of kitties to love, please visit them this weekend at Catmandu.
We are located at 1829 Brown Street. Our hours are Friday-Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please arrive early to visit and get to know our kitties.
Catmandu is a local cage-free non-profit cat sanctuary and rescue. We have over 80 feline residents. Some are waiting for forever homes. Others are “sanctuary cats” such as elderly, semi feral or medically fragile cats living out their best life at Catmandu. Please visit our website at https://catmanducc.org., like us on Facebook, and help if you can. We always need volunteers and/or donations. We appreciate your helping us continue to care for Carson City’s orphaned, homeless and abandoned kitties. Meow means thank you!
