Carson City Sheriff's Office asks for public’s help locating man wanted for felony warrants
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Tue, 04/26/2022 - 10:08amUPDATE: The suspect, Daniel McNeil, remains at large Tuesday following a vehicle pursuit overnight that ended in a crash near the rifle range. McNeil's passenger, Tony Eldridge, fled on foot and was eventually caught.

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to be on the lookout for a wanted person. Daniel McNeil, age 27, is wanted on several outstanding felony warrants.

Controlled burning happening at Carson City's Empire Ranch Golf Course

It turns out the fire reported is a controlled burning operation happening at Empire Ranch Golf Course, which had alerted dispatch earlier of its intentions.
