Carson High School (CHS) crowned Anna Turner and Lucas Wold as the 2023 Homecoming Queen and King. Hello fellow anglers. You can tell when fall has officially arrived. The sun is going down sooner, and it's time to put the heater in the boat. I have been on a little adventure over the last couple weeks fishing in our area.

During Wednesday’s Carson City Planning Commission meeting, commissioners unanimously approved a special use permit for the new fire station and emergency operations center proposed to be built off Butti Way.

The facility would include more than 18,000 square feet of space that will house a new fire station, an emergency operations center for the city, and the city’s IT department.

Local, national and international artists will create more than 20 murals live at the Brewery Arts Center and at public spaces around Carson City. The festival runs through Saturday. It is free, open to the public and for all ages.
