Carson City man killed on tribal land tried and acquitted in 2019 on lewdness with a child charges (Updated)
UPDATE: A 23-year-old Carson City man who died Friday from multiple gunshot wounds was tried and acquitted at a Lake Tahoe court earlier this year on charges of indecent exposure and lewdness with a child under the age of 12, court records show. Kyle Sullivan Bryan was found not guilty by a jury on both counts on April 11, 2019 in El Dorado County Superior Court in South Lake Tahoe.

A Carson City man who died from multiple gunshots Friday in what is being investigated as a possible homicide on Washoe Tribe land was arrested in 2018 for warrants out of South Lake Tahoe for alleged lewdness with a child.
The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man killed as Kyle Sullivan Bryan, 23.
Bryan was booked into jail Carson City Jail in April and again in July 2018 for felony warrants issued out of El Dorado County Superior Court in South Lake Tahoe, Calif alleging attempted lewd act upon a child.
On Friday, Dec. 13, 2019 at approximately 3:40 a.m. the Washoe Tribe Police and the Carson City Sheriff's Department responded to the area of Boyle Street within the jurisdictional boundaries of the Washoe Tribe for a reported domestic battery. Upon arrival it was discovered that Bryan, who was within a residence, had suffered apparent multiple gunshot wounds. He was declared dead at the scene. See original story here.
The Washoe Tribe Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are currently investigating the incident and have made an arrest of an adult individual.
