Tickets available for Carson High School fall play, 'Puffs'

"Puffs (or, Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic) One Act for Young Wizards."
For seven years, a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs, who just happened to be there too!

Four Carson High students, Anthony Larry, Connor Lampert, Danielle Van Dusen, and Sarai Jauregui Rivas made the first cut, though all of CHS Graphic Design Instructor Patricia Ababio’s students submitted entries.

Senator Square: Carson City Schools Orchestra students prepare for Holiday Concert

Just the idea of a concert in Carson City is exciting enough, but it gets even better because this musical event will cost audiences absolutely nothing except a little time and effort getting there. Admission is free.
Senator Square: Walmart awards Carson High School cheerleaders $5,000 grant

Senator Square: Club opportunities everywhere at Carson High School
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Sun, 10/13/2019 - 6:51amCHS has many opportunities for students to become a part of something bigger than just themselves, not that making a name for oneself is a bad idea or anything, but it is up to the student to step on up, come on in, and check them out. There are so many clubs on campus; there are Interact Club meetings at lunch in CHS teacher Erin Been’s room every Thursday, and Been also advises the Represent Club.

Events include the final V&T Railway train rides of the 2019 season, the 27th annual Carson City Pumpkin Patch at Seeliger Elementary School, fundraisers around town, coin press demonstrations at the Nevada State Museum, comedy at the Carson Nugget and more!

Senator Square: Carson High School graduate addresses National Honor Society members

Costella was an active member of NHS, and this fact influenced his desire to attend college at Villanova University in Philadelphia, PA where he earned degrees in Political Science and English.
Happening Tonight: Carson High School Theatre to show Wednesday Night Live

Senator Square: First week of school a blast at Carson High School

In fact, counselors, teachers, and other administrators stood at each of the school entrances welcoming students to the best high school in the state, hyperbole aside.

Carson High School Theatre Arts to show The Addams Family Musical April 11-14

"The Addams Family" is about a ghoulish American family who revolve around darkness and death. Wednesday, the daughter, falls in love with Lucas, a boy from Ohio. After many musical numbers, the ending is something quite spectacular. (I don't want to spoil it for you!)

A tradition that began decades ago at CHS has seniors jumping out of bed still wearing their pajamas, grabbing their blankets, and heading off to the CHS football field to arrive by 6 a.m.
