Tickets available for Carson High School fall play, 'Puffs'
After a wildly successful sold-out run of "Carrie: the Musical," Carson High School Theatre Arts is proud to announce that tickets are now on sale for our next main stage production. "Puffs (or, Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic) One Act for Young Wizards."
For seven years, a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs, who just happened to be there too!
In this hilarious parody of a familiar story, three potential heroes are just trying to make it through a magic school that proves to be very dangerous for children. Alongside them are the Puffs, a group of well-meaning, loyal outsiders with a thing for badgers. Their epic quest takes the classic story to new places and reimagines what a boy wizard hero can be.
You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll cheer for the underdog. Tickets can be purchased online at chstheatrearts.ludus.com.
Performances are Nov. 9, 10, and 11 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 11-12 at 2 p.m. at the Brewery Arts Center Black Box Theatre.
Puffs runs around 90 minutes and is recommended for wizards age 8 and up.
CAST: Robert Sainz, Arissa Hughey, Kaz Matson, Camryn Peachay, Caden Bass, Miya Kuniya, Izzie Padilla, Lindsay Kreizenbeck, Eleanor Woodrum, Autumn Ellis, and Wehilani Ronk. Directed by Darby Beckwith.
