Nevada is abnormally green now, that could be bad later

Instagram isn’t having a filter malfunction. Nevada’s valleys and hillsides really are carpeted in lush, green vegetation.

Science, in the form of satellite data, is showing us that the country’s driest state is much greener than normal thanks to El Nino-fueled storms that dumped rain and snow across the Sierra Nevada and Great Basin all winter.

With 104 teachers, not including other staff members, the CHS Teacher of the Year Award is an accomplishment most teachers will never receive, so winning an award like this required a great many people to say a great thing or two about Scott Vickrey.
