Former Dayton resident and St Teresa of Avila parishioner passed away

As a freshman at Central High School he decided to join the choir. On the very first day he spotted the pretty junior and he told his buddy "I'm going to marry that girl one day".

Obituary: Services March 3 for Patricia Marie Welden of Carson City
Submitted by editor on Mon, 02/29/2016 - 2:45pmPatricia (Patty) Marie (Mummey) Welden, 54, was born May 9, 1961 in Bethesda, Maryland. She said goodbye to this life and left for Heaven on February 28, 2016.
Patty grew up in a Navy family and moved around quite a bit in her life.
Patty spent 4 years in the United States Air Force. She was stationed in Lackland AFB, Suwon AFB, in South Korea, as well as Mather and Norton Air Force Bases, both in California.
Patty graduated from the University of Western Florida in Pensacola with a BS in Education.
