Mile High Jazz Band to celebrate with music and anniversary cake to mark 15th year

Consort Canzona Early Music Ensemble invites recorder players for May concerts

Consort Canzona, a select group of instrumentalists and singers that specializes in early music, has openings for experienced soprano, alto, and tenor recorder players for performances on May 21 and 22 in Carson City.

Carson High School Chamber Choir selected to participate in the Anaheim Music Festival

The Carson High School Chamber Choir has been accepted to perform at the Anaheim Heritage Festival in southern California. They were very excited about the idea of performing in Disneyland. Once they were told of the costs of the trip you could see the dismay in many of their faces.

Youth Theatre Carson City will hold auditions this Saturday for Disney’s "Alice in Wonderland, Jr." The show will run four performances, April 8-10 in the Bob Boldrick Theatre at the Carson City Community Center.

We are looking for actors, singers, and dancers grades K-12, who will be cast to play all the classic characters including Alice, The White Rabbit, The Mad Hatter, The Cheshire Cat, and of course, The evil Queen of Hearts – plus a host of other colorful characters.
