Shoe Tree Brewing Co. wins big at the 2020 Great American Beer Festival, World's Largest Beer Competition

Shoe Tree Brewing Co. was awarded Gold and Bronze medals at the 2020 Great American Beer Festival (GABF) competition, presented by the Brewers Association. The best beers in 91 beer categories covering 170 different beer styles (including all subcategories) were awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals during a virtual ceremony Friday, October 16, hosted on The Brewing Network.

Carson City’s Shoe Tree Brewing Co. selected to craft the official Nevada Day beer

Long before Shoe Tree Brewing Co. was in existence, co-owners and brother Paul and Jeff Young have had a tradition of brewing a beer specifically for Nevada Day to share amongst friends and family.

This year, they are brewing the Official Nevada Day Beer for the first of hopefully many years.

5th Annual Sassabration Pride and Fundraiser beats the heat

The Fifth Annual Sassabration, Carson City’s Pride event and fundraiser, was held Saturday at Sassafras along with Shoe Tree Brewing Co. and the Carson City Hot Springs.

The day began with a parade beginning at the Brewery Arts Center and ending at Sassafras. Vendors, entertainers, musicians and attendees gathered in the heat of another hot desert summer day to raise funds for a great cause.

The second annual Rock Crawlers and Brews fest will be held once again at the Fuji Park fairgrounds in Carson City this Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This family-friendly event is a rock crawler truck show hosted by Shoe Tree Brewing Company. In addition to beers on tap, vendor booths from local businesses will be joining the festivities to sell their wares and visit with the community.

Fundraiser for Carson City girl with brain tumor at Shoe Tree Brewing Company

There will be a fundraiser Tuesday, Sept. 17 at Shoe Tree Brewing Company for Iliana Avila, an 8 year old girl from Carson City with an inoperable brain tumor, (DIPG).

She is currently under care at UCSF, where she is undergoing radiation to slow down the progression of her tumor. All funds collected at the event will help relieve some of the financial stress as her family spends as much time as possible with her.

HopeFest7, Free Outdoor Concert to Benefit Local Cancer Patients Set for August 18
