Carson City's Shoe Tree Brewing Gets Groovy with April 20 Reggae Music Festival
Carson City's Shoe Tree Brewing Co. will be hosting a 4/20 reggae music festival on Saturday, April 20 featuring live bands, a new beer, vendors and more.
The celebration begins at noon with inside and outside festivities featuring local reggae bands. Live bands for the day include Stereo Galaxy, Taking Root, True Leaf and False Rhythms.
About a dozen local vendors will be selling their wares including jewelry, gifts and more.
"We wanted to have something in the spring to have fun with," said Shoe Tree co-owner Paul Young. "We're trying to have a big event every quarter, so this will be our spring event, and in June we'll celebrate our anniversary with a big punk concert again."
They'll also be releasing their newest beer for the occasion, the Bob Rastafar IPA.
