Carson City Deputies arrested one man and another male they think might be a juvenile for
allegedly taking two girls, 11 and 12 years old, from MIlls Park and sexually assaulting near the Carson River Tuesday night.

Enrique Lopez-Cervantes, 24, and another male whose identification showed he is 17, were arrested Wednesday night after detectives found them at Mills Park.

Carson City man arrested on kidnapping, sexual assault charges

An unemployed Carson City man wanted on felony sexual assault and kidnapping charges was arrested at a motel room in the 200 block of West Caroline on Tuesday morning.

Brandon Hicks, 18, is being held on $200,000 bail. A warrant for his arrest was issued on March 25 in Carson City Justice Court on the alleged felony crimes of first degree kidnapping, battery with intent to commit sexual assault committed by strangulation and sexual assault.

Carson City authorities arrest man on felony drug and misdemeanor DUI charges

A Carson City man faces multiple charges including felony drug possession and misdemeanor suspicion of driving under the influence, after being arrested late Thursday night during a traffic stop.

Isiah Treur, 32, was stopped at Fairview and the bypass at around 11:20 after officers observed him speeding and drifting across the fog line and failing to maintain his lane of traffic, according to the arrest report.

Gov. Gibbons Announces Retirement Of State Public Safety Chief

A Carson City man faces a felony sexual assault charge after allegedly raping a woman in a stairwell near a Carson City tavern early Sunday morning.

Rodrigo Romero, 20, was arrested Tuesday and is being held on $50,000 bail.

A 21-year-old Gardnerville man faces multiple felony charges including sexual assault and lewdness with a minor, Douglas County authorities said.

Dayton Valley Days Benefits Community

Dayton Valley Days on September 18 and 19 will be more than a fun family event. The annual street fair will also benefit several local nonprofits that add to the quality of life in the Dayton Valley.

One of those nonprofits is Central Lyon Youth Connections (CLYC), an organization that offers a number of free programs to enhance positive youth development. Carson City man faces lewdness and statutory sexual seduction charges

An 18-year-old Carson City man faces criminal charges of lewdness with a minor and statutory sexual seduction.
Nathan Andrew Bailey, 18, is being held on $52,500 bail after being arrested on June 16. Charges include lewdness with a minor under 14 years of age and statutory sexual seduction. According to a Carson City Sheriff's Office arrest report, a 12-year-old girl told authorities that she had been having sexual relations with him for several months.
