Nevada Humanities extended the deadline to Friday, March 1, 2019 at 5 p.m. to nominate an exceptional individual or organization for the 2019 Nevada Humanities Awards.

These awards are for outstanding achievement in, and contributions to, the humanities. The Western Nevada Safe Routes to School (WN-SRTS) program, with the help of the Nevada Department of Transportation, conducted a “train the teacher” class for physical education teachers in the following schools:

Get fit for your Winter Sports and Obstacle Course Racing Events at Well Being Massage and Functional Fitness. All winter sport and obstacle course enthusiasts in the area are invited to participate. The three-week program starts Tuesday, February 12, 2019.
