Carson City District Attorney calls for coroner's inquest into 2020 stabbing death
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Wed, 01/13/2021 - 4:59pmDistrict Attorney Jason Woodbury has called for a coroner’s inquest relating to the Feb. 15, 2020 killing of Clint Garett Malone in Carson City. Malone, 37, died as the result of multiple stab wounds inflicted at a residence on Woodside Drive.
Five Carson City residents vying for Ward 3 seat on Board of Supervisors, appointment on Nov. 4

The seat for Ward 3 is currently held by Supervisor Lori Bagwell, who will be vacating now that she has been elected Carson City’s mayor.

Transitional housing for recovering addicts coming to Carson City

Carson City’s courts, through options such as alternative sentencing, drug court, and the most recent addition of misdemeanor treatment court, has taken steps to combat addiction.
However, there is a hole in their treatment process, and a large one at that: safe, sober housing.

Antonio Pastini was the brash ex-Chicago cop who befriended a brothel mogul and spun yarns of a bare-knuckled youth in the Windy City that read like a cross between “Goodfellas” and “The Outsiders.”
They were one and the same person.
Martinez-Guzman ordered transferred to Washoe County to face murder charges
