Deputies arrested three Carson residents Friday evening in the 2800 block of Bel Air Way on felony possession of controlled substance among other offenses.

According to the report, Special Enforcement Team deputies arrested Gregory Dee Shoemaker, Nicole Iona Contreras and Devin Edward Keller after receiving multiple drug complaints about a residence.

The Tri-County (Lyon, Douglas, Carson City) Gang Unit conducted a traffic stop shortly before 6 p.m. on Friday in Carson City that resulted in a substantial seizure of methamphetamine, as well as items used for the trafficking and sale of drugs.

Six people were arrested Monday afternoon in the 3400 block of Sherman Lane after the Carson City Sheriff's Office Special Enforcement Team conducted a series of drug busts.

Five people were arrested in the area of N. Lompa and Highway 50 on Thursday afternoon after Carson City Sheriff's Office Deputies with the Special Enforcement Team located drugs for sale in their vehicle.

The Carson City Special Enforcement Team made a significant drug bust Thursday night that resulted in three arrests, 2.6 pounds of methamphetamine valued at around $67,000 seized, along with around $3,600 in cash, night vision goggles and a gun silencer.

Carson City Sheriff's deputies involved in the Special Enforcement Team made a series of arrests on Wednesday evening based on an anonymous tip of marijuana plants being grown. Four people were arrested:

• Justin Lobretto, 29, a Carson City man, for possession of a controlled substance (marijuana - approximately 60 plants). Lobretto was also arrested for a gross misdemeanor allegation of child endangerment and a misdemeanor allegation of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail is set at $6,000 plus administrative fees.

Members of the Special Enforcement Team for the Carson City Sheriff's Office arrested Brandi L. Petty, 31, a Carson City home care specialist, just prior to 5 p.m. Saturday. Petty was arrested near the 1000 block of East Second Street as the result of an ongoing investigation.

Deputies approached the residence with the intent to serve the warrant and discovered two video cameras, one disguised as a birdhouse. Knocking several times on the front door yielded no result, so the officers proceded to enter the residence through the back door. A search yielded drugs and paraphernalia.

A major drug operation east of Carson City was brought down late Tuesday with 10 arrests, two being juveniles, the Nevada Department of Public Safety reports.

The bust happened at around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and involved multiple law enforcement agencies that resulted in the execution of four search warrants and 10 arrests and the confiscation of 1502 grams of drugs, including more than three pounds of methamphetamine.
