Warm afternoon temperatures are expected around the Carson City region through Thursday, with a cool down to possibly below average temperatures by the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

When organizers formed the Greenhouse Project 10 years ago in Carson City, their vision was to establish a sustainable program that provided wholesome, natural produce to the community.

I was out watering a few days ago and I noticed yellowjacket wasps crawling on the ground. I mentioned to my friend Will that I thought yellowjackets bite rather than sting. Hello fellow anglers, I just returned from fishing Topaz Lake with friend Tom Blotter. We had a great day of fishing, but to see the devastation from the Slinkard Fire was hard to accept. We saw where the fire came within feet from homes in the Topaz area.
