WNC Specialty Crop Institute Presents Small Farm Equipment Workshop

To facilitate these tasks, Western Nevada College Specialty Crop Institute, in collaboration with the University of Nevada, Reno Desert Farming Initiative, will offer a Small Farm Equipment Workshop on Friday, Jan. 20.

The workshop runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Desert Farming Initiative, 920 Valley Road, in Reno. Cost is $20 for those registering by Friday Jan. 13 and $25 afterward.

The Capital City Arts Initiative announces its exhibition, ART from SNC, at the Community Development Building [the Brick], 108 E Proctor Street, Carson City. Nine student artists from Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village, Nevada, have work in the exhibit. The free exhibition is available to the public from December 1, 2016 – January 30, 2017.

The Capital City Arts Initiative [CCAI] presents its exhibition, "Pocket Ziggurat", by artist Chelsea Pegram at the CCAI Courthouse Gallery. The exhibit will be in the gallery from October 7, 2016 - January 19, 2017. The Courthouse is located at 885 E Musser Street, Carson City. The exhibition is free and the public is cordially invited. What Works: Good boundaries make for good business

I grew up where the handshake deal was gold. If someone said they would do something, they did it. All it took was a handshake and work began. Handshake deals are still pretty common. Unfortunately, plenty can still be misunderstood with a handshake deal.
