We watched a movie called Sicario, a flick about Mexican drug cartels. Needless to say, the movie is partially set in Juarez, the border town right next to El Paso. It was the perfect set up to a nice waterfall of assumption.

RISE Carson City Gives Back to Local Veterans

“As a Vet and a registered medical cannabis patient, it’s incredible to be part of a team that cares so much about the community, particularly the Veteran community. It hits home and it means a lot,” said RISE Assistant Manager Brian Church.

We will be having local candidates and officials giving their victory speeches as well as campaign officials thanking all volunteers and voters for hard work during campaign. Food and drinks will be provided and we will be watching all returns (local and national) on screens in the office. Goni area power outage reported in North Carson City

The outage was reported at around 1:20 p.m. Thursday, and appears to have been caused by a folding canopy that hit nearby power lines.
Carson Nugget Annual Chili Feed to be Hosted by Senator Dean Heller

The Annual Chili Feed, featuring the Carson Nugget’s famous chili, began in 1982 and has become a Nevada Day Tradition. It was hosted by Former, US Senator Richard Bryan for the first 19 years and was then passed on to Former, Lieutenant Governor, Brian Krolicki before Heller took over last year.
