Well Being (Massage and Functional Fitness) hosts its second Winter Sport and Activity Conditioning Program this year. All winter sport and activity enthusiasts in the area are invited to participate.
The three week program began Monday, Nov. 26, 2018. Training days and times include the following:
— Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday mornings at 9:00 a.m.
— Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5:30 p.m.
Carson City church hosts Caring and Sharing Christmas Concert and 'Food Raiser'

Local talent will be joining us in sharing the gift of music in this community event. The Event is a "food raiser" for the Carson City Seventh-day Adventist Church Food Pantry. Entrance to the concert will be two non-perishable food items per person. Please join us for a wonderful night of music. Cookies and cocoa will follow the concert.

Chambers announce his passing away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada, surrounded by his family. Rev. Chambers of Carson City was 84.
Parks Foundation holds Open House Sunday at the Wungnema House in Mills Park

The Wungnema House is located on the east side of Mills Park across from Carson High School. It was built by a family of skilled Hopi stonemasons shortly after World War II and served as the family’s home until the early 1970s.

Catmandu is a non-profit cat adoption center located at 1829 Brown Street in Carson City, NV. It is a homey, cage-free adoption shelter. The shelter relies entirely on donations and the proceeds from fundraisers.
