Drive-in movies begin Wednesday at Carson City's BAC, showings are twice weekly with RSVP

Miles Construction Company has generously donated the use of a Flatbed Truck and with financial support from The Change Companies, the Nauman Foundation, and Carson Tahoe Hospital, the BAC is proud to bring you Moxy Ruckus this 4th of July holiday from 6 to 9 p.m. in the neighborhood by Eagle Valley Middle School.

Carson City man arrested for allegedly attacking house after being unable to contact ex-girlfriend
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Sat, 03/07/2020 - 11:45amA 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the area of E Nye Lane and Tonni Street for violation of bail conditions after a call came in about a possible residential burglary.
The reporting party stated they knew the man, who was banging on their front door and their kitchen window. The man in question is under supervision with the Department of Alternative Sentencing and had a condition to not contact the victim, who was the man’s ex-girlfriend.

Carson City arrests: Woman jailed for DUI, stopped for going 50 mph in a 35 mph zone

According to the report, the sheriff made a traffic stop on a vehicle, which was going 50 mph in a 35 mph zone and called deputies to the scene.
Carson City man arrested for battery, obstruction following living room brawl
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Sat, 01/25/2020 - 11:48amA 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 3400 block of Harvard Way Friday evening for battery and obstructing after he allegedly fought with his wife's coworker in their living room.
According to the report, deputies were dispatched to the residence in report of a fight in progress. The reporting party was the man's wife and the other person in the fight was her co-worker, according to the report, and both were "highly intoxicated."
Nevada Artists Association donates $1,500 to Boys and Girls Club for children's art programs
