Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz, and their team are excited to return to Nevada. They plan to film episodes of the hit series Americans throughout the region in spring 2017.

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called Friday night to a vehicle crash near the intersection of Emerson and Arrowhead where the driver struck a fence and tree.

Eric Bevans spent more than four hours touring Carson City businesses with his wife, Rebecca, and their daughter during the grand opening of the new downtown corridor last Friday.

“I went to businesses I’d never been to before, and I’ve lived here 25 years,” he said. “We made so many great discoveries — despite the rain.”

Construction of Carson Street along the downtown corridor is now a little over half way through the project's eight-month timeline and the work remains on pace to be mostly finished by Nevada Day weekend, Carson City Public Works Engineering Manager Daniel Rotter said.

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is investigating windows that were shot out early Tuesday morning at a downtown Carson City antique store.

The incident happened at just after 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at Hanifin’s Arts and Antiques on the Curry Street entrance. The business is located at 210 North Carson Street. Two large plate glass windows were shot out. Dispatch received word of the vandalism at 1:33 a.m.

Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong said the shooting incident is under investigation and did not elaborate further.

What is a "Spirit Gathering?" A Spirit Gathering is similar to a Séance but is more spirit honored and less ostentatious. It is a gathering for Dignified Spirit Communications, with Guest Participation & Assistance.

Conducted during the April Spirit Tour at the historic and haunted Dake House in Genoa.

On a sun dappled porch, Julie Grady of Due Sorella, a local home décor store, poured coffee and served scones to guests gathered to discuss the store’s 10th anniversary party from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, featuring food, live music and door prizes.

Construction of the downtown corridor of North Carson Street is now in full swing since the March 7 groundbreaking, and already changes have begun taking shape.
