Mild Sunday weather brings out the wildlife in Carson City

After drenching rains Saturday that resulted in localized flooding, Sunday was partly sunny, dry and mild with highs reaching into the fifties around the Nevada State Capital.
Dry conditions are expected to last until late Monday night, according to the National Weather Service in Reno, when another storm system is due to move into the area overnight, bringing with it up to a 90 percent chance of rain or snow through Wednesday.
Stormy conditions are also forecast for Thursday with rain showers and breezy conditions likely. Highs through the week are forecast to be in the upper forties and overnight lows around or below the freezing mark.
