Ideas On Tap returns to downtown Carson City Dec. 5
As you know, we did not have a November Ideas on Tap. But I’m happy to announce we now have a new home: The Union Eatery Taphouse Coffee at 302 N. Carson Street.
We will gather there Wednesday, Dec. 5 beginning from 6-7:30 p.m. Our topic is “Creating the Next Generation of Artists in Carson City," featuring the following esteemed panel members:
— Mark Salinas, Carson City Arts and Culture Coordinator
— Katie Leao, Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Nevada
— Mike Malley, artist and art teacher at Carson High School
— Rachael Stiff, artist and art instructor at Western Nevada College
As always, we provide the conversation. Purchases of food, coffee, desserts and libations are on you.
The Ideas On Tap discussion series continues Jan. 2, 2019 and Feb. 6, 2019 at The Union concerning the topics of “Public Trust in the Media and the Importance of Journalism to our Democracy," and “Brain Drain," respectively.
