Carson City downtown residential survey open for public input
Based on the results from the first downtown survey on retail and restaurant opportunities, the city is asking the public to participate in a second survey focusing on residential options for the downtown core. This survey is intended to provide community based data, which will offer real estate insight for those interested.
In conjunction with the results from the first survey, this information will be used to continue to help shape the downtown. The second survey has been posted on the city’s website, carson.org, asking what type of residential housing arrangements are preferred for people that want to live downtown. The goal is to recruit residential development with a range of options that will benefit new residents, add new amenities and create a renewed sense of community in the downtown area.
We have posted a short survey on our website that asks 22 questions and should take 5 minutes or less to complete- http://carson.org/survey. Your response will help us attract residential development and coordinate with local real estate professionals. Manual surveys will be available in the city manager’s office at City Hall.
By all means, please share this with your friends and family via email or social media. You will also find a link to the survey on the city’s Facebook page – Carson City Nevada Government and on our Twitter account, @carsoncitygov.
