Carson City Sheriff’s Office bookings: Deputies make drug, warrant arrests
A 39-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Tuesday for felony suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Jason Edward Allen was arrested at 3:55 a.m. in the 3900 block of North Carson Street. According to the arrest report, an officer was investigating suspicious activity in the area and met with a man who said he was not involved in anything the two other people he was with previously were doing.
The man admitted to having paraphernalia in the vehicle and said the officer could retrieve it. An officer located a sunglasses case and found drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine inside. The man was read his Miranda warning and agreed to speak. He admitted to possessing the meth and paraphernalia. Bail: $3,637.
— A 36-year-old Reno man was booked Monday into Carson City Jail on a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant, failure to appear, issued Dec. 9, 2015 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $500.
— A 59-year-old Dayton man was arrested Monday, 9:15 a.m. in the 1800 block of Old Hot Springs Road for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued Nov. 9 out of Reno Township Court. According to the arrest report, a deputy was patrolling the area of Old Hot Springs Road looking for a possible suspect on a bicycle involved in a vehicle theft. The officer made contact with the man, who verbally stated he believed Washoe County had a warrant for his arrest. A records check showed the confirmed warrant. Bail: $480.
— A 31-year-old Dayton woman was arrested Monday in the 7000 block of Highway 50 East for a misdemeanor warrant violation of probation issued Oct. 11, 2016 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
— A 71-year-old transient was arrested Monday, 3:47 p.m. in the 3100 block of Surrey Lane for misdemeanor suspicion of trespassing. According to the arrest report, deputies were called to the area for a report of an unwanted subject. An officer spoke with the property manager who advised that a lock out order was served Nov. 16. The tenants were given an extra day to remove their belongings.
As of Nov. 28, the subject had failed to vacate the property. The man was advised he needed to leave the property because he was trespassing. The man told the officer he was not leaving the property under any circumstances. He was again asked to leave. The man refused and was taken to jail. Bail: $242.
