Developer of proposed Andersen Ranch Estates in Carson City to hold neighborhood meeting
Christy Corporation, Ltd. will host an informal neighborhood meeting to present a proposed development plan for Andersen Ranch Estates, which includes the 48.2 acres located west of Mountain Street, east of Ormsby Boulevard in west Carson City.
Project representatives will be on hand to present plans for a Tentative Subdivision Map and answer questions.
The meeting will be held Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Carson Nugget, 507 N. Carson Street, Carson City.
The Planning Division has received a Tentative Subdivision Map application for a portion of the Andersen Ranch property (between Ormsby Blvd. and Mountain St.) that was formerly the subject of the “Vintage” subdivision project.
The application will be scheduled for a public hearing at the Planning Commission meeting of Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019.
The plan submitted in July for the new subdivision allows for 111 lots with a minimum of 5,000 square feet, and 93 larger lots between 7,700 square feet and 13,569 square feet.
A total of 7.58 acres of open space and 9.64 acres of right of way is also included in the plans.
