Tricycle stolen from Carson City handicapped man recovered
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office reports Monday that a tricycle that was stolen earlier this month from a handicapped man who used it as his only mode of transportation was recovered in Carson City by a member of the community.
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office would like to thank everyone in the community for calling in tips as well as the outpouring of support for the man, Matthew Ingbar, his family and willingness of people wanting to purchase a new bike, said CCSO Detective Josh Chaney.
Since this story was first reported, there has been a great outpouring of support from the community and a desire to help.
Randy Gaa of Carson City's Muscle Powered has been in communication with Matthew's family.
At the family’s request, those who wanted to help were and, are still, encouraged to make donations to Movers & Doers, the Carson City Parks and Recreation program that benefits local handicapped individuals. So far 38 donors have generated $2,560 for the program, said Gaa.
A GoFundMe campaign has been setup online at:

All monies raised will go to the Movers & Doers on Matthew’s behalf.
