Carson City 2015 Turkey Trot signups continue with a week until Thanksgiving walk/run
With Thanksgiving a week away, signups are in the final stretch for the annual Carson City Turkey Trot, a holiday family walk and fun run held ahead of morning football games and big afternoon and evening dinners.
Get some exercise with hundreds of your fellow Carson City neighbors during this annual event hosted by St. Teresa Catholic School. The Turkey Trot offers an 8K, 5-mile run, a 5K, 3.1 miles run / walk, or the Gobble Wobble 1 mile Kids Fun Run. The event begins on Mountain Street in front of the Governor's Mansion and meanders through the west side of town. See the video below.

The money raised will go to the school with a portion of the proceeds benefiting The Children's Cabinet.
The event begins at 8:30 a.m., for the 8K Race, 8:35 a.m. for the 5K event and 10 a.m. for the kids.
Runners (who pre-register) receive a shirt, water bottle and small swag bag goodies
Top three finishers for male and female receive a medal.
