Battle Born Dispensary hosts ribbon cutting for Lyon County’s newest cannabis retailer
On Wednesday, Battle Born Dispensary of Mound House held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the grand opening of its new cannabis dispensary.
The new dispensary is located at 10115 US Highway 50 in Mound House, on the corner of Highway 50 and Kit Kat Drive.
Lyon County Commissioners Wes Henderson and Ken Gray were in attendance for the ribbon cutting.
The facility is one of a few locally owned cannabis dispensaries. In Lyon County there is a dispensary in Fernley. There's also a dispensary on tribal land in Yerington. There are two dispensaries in Carson City.
According to General Manager Ashlee Ernst, their team is excited to be able to serve the communities of Northern Nevada.
The 4,800 square foot facility has been through a complete renovation and remodel in order to accommodate requirements from both the state and the county imposed on cannabis establishments.
According to Ernst, their supply comes from numerous local and statewide suppliers, including High Sierra Holistics, owned as well by the owners of Battle Born Dispensary. High Sierra Holistics were among one of the first legal growers approved by the state.
Battle Born is a full-service dispensary open daily from 9 a.m. – 8:30 p.m., with curbside service available from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. There is also a complete online menu available at https://battleborndispensary.com where consumers can find flower, vapes, edibles, pre-rolls, extract, tincture, and topicals from HSH, Cannavative, Silver Sage Cannabis, Srene and others.
