Carson City man jailed for felony warrant alleging marijuana trafficking
A 42-year-old Carson City man was booked into jail Wednesday for a felony warrant alleging marijuana trafficking, a sheriff's office booking report states.
Oscar Ortega-Aguilera was booked into jail for the warrant, alleging trafficking of 50 to 1,000 pounds of marijuana. The warrant was issued Sept. 16, 2020 out of Carson City Justice Court. He was also placed on a no-bail immigration hold.
In other arrests:
— A 24-year-old man was booked Wednesday into Carson City jail on two felony warrants and an immigration hold, a sheriff's deputy report states.
Bryan Salas-Suarez of Sparks was transported to Carson City from Washoe County Jail for the two felony warrants, one alleging obtaining and using personal identifying information, and the other, uttering a forged instrument.
The warrants were issued Dec. 24, 2019 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $40,000, plus an ICE detainer.
— A 26-year-old Carson City woman as arrested Wednesday for a misdemeanor outside agency warrant out of Virginia City Township. Bail: $1,630.
— A 62-year-old transient was booked for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued July 7, 2020 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $500.
