Did you feel it? USGS says 3.8 magnitude earthquake located south of Topaz Lake
The USGS reports a magnitude 3.8 earthquake 9.9 miles south of Topaz Lake that happened at 8:12 a.m. Tuesday morning. The Nevada Seismological Lab reports the earthquake registered a 3.9 magnitude. It was followed by a 2.1 magnitude at 8:14 a.m.
There were earthquakes leading up to the larger quake with a 2.7 magnitude at 6:55 a.m. a 2.2 at 6:58 a.m. and a 2.0 at 7:10 a.m., according to the Nevada Seismological Lab.
