Carson City Fire Department: Smoke at library coming from HVAC system
UPDATE 10:33AM: A Carson City Fire Department battalion chief on scene reports the light smoke was coming from the library's HVAC unit. No fire was found. Roop and Washington streets will be opened for traffic shortly.

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies responded Thursday morning to a possible structure fire at the Carson City Library, 900 North Roop Street.
The fire was called in at around 10:15 a.m. and was reportedly in the second story. The building has been evacuated.
Traffic was closed at Washington and Roop streets. Check back for updates.
