Multiple collisions reported at East William and North Roop streets

Carson City emergency crews are on scene of multiple vehicles involved in two separate collisions at the intersection of North Roop and East William streets.
Three vehicles were reported to be involved in the first reported collision, which resulted in some injuries requiring paramedic assistance. Vehicles reportedly sustained moderate damage in the first accident.
A second, subsequent collision then was then reported to have occurred at the same intersection following the first crash.
Traffic is likely to be slowed and backed up at the intersection. Eastbound lanes are reportedly blocked.
Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route at this time.
