Carson City Humane Society's Pet of the Week: Porter
This week Nevada Humane Society’s Carson City Shelter brings you their Pet of the Week: Porter!
This pup is a diamond in the “Ruff”, as some may say.
Porter came to Nevada Humane Society after his owner of eight years could no longer care for him in his home. Since coming to the shelter, Porter has proven to be an excellent listener and couch potato, and we are confident he will always let you choose the movies during a lazy weekend movie marathon.
Porter would make a great companion to an owner with older, mature children over the age of ten, given the opportunity to meet them first.
He has also lived with cats previously and can go home with a fur-sibling once proper introductions are done.
If you are looking to add a furry member to your family, consider meeting with Porter today!
Let's hear from Porter himself!
“I am a wonderful companion just waiting for a family. Throw the ball for me? I will love you forever. The folks here say I would do well as a family guy, so I guess that means I can go home with you and possibly children as well, they just need to be a little older. If you are looking for the perfect addition to your family, take me home today! I can’t wait to meet you.”
You can meet Porter by visiting the Carson City branch of the Nevada Humane Society located at 549 Airport Road in Carson City, or by calling (775) 887-2171 to find out more.
