Carson City investigators ask for public's help identifying man who stole jewelry from local store
The Carson City Sheriff's Office Investigation Division is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a grand larceny theft of jewelry at a Carson City store on East William Street.
The theft happened on August 9. The suspect is identified as a white bald male who was driving a gray mid-2000’s Nissan Frontier with an extra cab, said Carson City Sheriff's Office Detective Sam Hatley.
The suspect, seen in the photo above, entered the store and when he saw there were no employees watching him, he opened a display case and stole a tray of jewelry, Hatley said. Go here to watch surveillance video.
The vehicle appeared to have some side damage behind the driver door and the pick up bed was full of property.
