Carson City Humane Society's Pet of the Week: Trouble
Happy Wednesday Carson City! Say hello to our newest Carson City Humane Society's Pet of the Week: Trouble!
Trouble is a shy, affectionate, female cat that has been with the Humane Society since April-making her their longest-term resident!
Her previous owner was unable to continue caring for this sweet girl, so the Humane Society promised to help find her a new happy home and they need your help!
Trouble is a really special cat in many ways, but she also has some health challenges that require a furrever family with a little extra time and patience.
She has hyperthyroidism, which is easily controlled by daily medication, and IBS which can be managed by a few extra litter boxes and a low-stress environment. Neither of these conditions change her incredibly sweet personality or her love for snuggles and treats.
Let's hear from Trouble herself!
“Lap warming is my specialty! I have a lot of love to give someone who needs
me as much as I need them!”
You can meet Trouble yourself and take her home to a new loving home by visiting the Carson City branch of the Nevada Humane Society located at 549 Airport Road, or by calling 775-887-2171 .
Pet of the week is sponsored by the Carson City Senior Center. They provide services, nutrition, resources and support for seniors including Nevada Care Connection program seniors and individuals with disabilities.
