Carson City Sheriff's arrest log: Man booked for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest
A transient man was arrested Friday evening at 8:02 p.m. in the 500 block of North Carson Street on misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct, trespassing and resisting arrest, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy reported.
According to the report, Sheriff's deputies responded to a gaming establishment in the area on report of an unwanted subject. The reporting party (RP) informed Carson City Dispatch that the subject was outside of the business yelling and threatening patrons.
The Carson City Sheriff had arrived on scene and advised responding deputies that the subject was uncooperative, continuing to yell and cause a disturbance while law enforcement made contact with him, the report said.
Deputies attempted to take the suspect into custody at that point, but he resisted arrest and had to be taken to the ground in order for officers to gain control of him. He was detained in handcuffs after a brief struggle, the report said, and placed into a patrol vehicle.
Staff was interviewed by law enforcement and reported that the suspect had been on the gaming floor when security asked to see his identification, the report said. He then became upset; yelling, using obscene language, and causing a disturbance.
The suspect had been instructed by security to leave the establishment, but he would stop and yell at staff before eventually exiting the business.
Once transported to the Carson City Jail, the suspect was once again uncooperative, the report said, refusing to exit the patrol vehicle. He had to be carried into the detention facility and placed in a safety cell during the booking process. Bail: $250.
