NHP: Fatal hit and run crash kills pedestrian, 5 dogs near Dayton
UPDATE: An arrest has been made in the Thursday morning fatal pedestrian hit and run crash that killed a 59-year-old Dayton man, identified as Michael Kuntz, according to Lyon County Sheriff's Office and the Nevada Highway Patrol. James Parisi, a 39-year-old Dayton resident, has been arrested in connection to the crime, according to NHP. Go here for the full story.

UPDATE: The Lyon County Sheriff's Office released three photos it calls a "vehicle of interest" in Thursday morning's fatal crash in the Dayton area in which an adult male walking five dogs was struck and killed in a hit and run crash. The Nevada Highway Patrol and the Lyon County Sheriff's Office are investigating a fatal hit and run crash involving a pedestrian that happened Thursday morning in the Dayton area.
The hit and run was reported in the Six Mile Canyon area near Dayton between Roughing it and Ring Road, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol via Twitter.
An unknown vehicle going westbound crossed over and struck an eastbound pedestrian who was walking several dogs. NHP responded to the crash at around 6:50 a.m.
The pedestrian and the 5 dogs were killed, according to NHP Trooper Hannah DeGoey. The name of the victim has not been released.
The Nevada Highway Patrol is asking for the public's help in locating the suspected vehicle in the area at the time. The suspected vehicle is a late 1980s, or early 90s SUV, truck or van, according to NHP, which would have front end and headlight damage. The color of the suspected vehicle is unknown at this time.
