Lyon County Sheriff's Office release 'vehicle of interest' photos following Dayton pedestrian fatal
UPDATE: An arrest has been made in connection to the Thursday morning hit and run pedestrian crash that killed a 59-year-old Dayton man, identified as Michael Kuntz, and his 5 dogs, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol and Lyon County Sheriff's Office. James Parisi, a 39-year-old Dayton resident, has been arrested in connection to the crime, according to NHP. Go here for the full story.

The following images released Thursday afternoon by the Lyon County Sheriff's Office are of a "vehicle of interest" in the hit and run vehicular homicide that occurred on Six Mile Canyon Road in the Dayton area on Thursday morning, in which an adult male pedestrian and five dogs died.

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office released the following:
Shortly after 6:30 AM this morning, Lyon County deputies were dispatched to the area of Six Mile Canyon between Ring Road and Riverboat Road for a dog being struck by a motor vehicle. Upon arrival deputies discovered that five dogs had been struck and an adult male.
The adult male was pronounced dead at the scene as well as the five dogs, and the suspect had fled the scene.
The Nevada Highway Patrol was summoned to investigate the accident portion of the investigation while the Lyon County Detective Division was summoned to investigate the vehicular manslaughter.
At the time of the accident the suspect vehicle was headed northbound on Six Mile Canyon Road (toward Storey County).
The name of the decedent is being withheld until next of kin can be notified.
At this time law enforcement is looking for an unknown colored late 80s early 90s GMC or Chevy pickup, SUV, or van with front end damage.

The Nevada Highway Patrol and the Lyon County Sheriff's Office are investigating. The hit and run happened in the Six Mile Canyon area between Roughing it and Ring Road. The vehicle that hit the pedestrian and dogs was going westbound, crossed over and struck an eastbound pedestrian who was walking several dogs, according to NHP.
