Carson City sheriff's log: $1 million bail for man facing multiple sex assault charges
A 22-year inmate who faces multiple sex crime related charges involving minors, had two additional charges — lewdness with a minor under the age of 14 — filed against him Wednesday, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Jacob Daniel Houser was booked on the charges, with $500,000 bondable bail. Earlier this month he was extradited to Carson City where he’s been charged with multiple sex crimes including statutory sexual seduction, sexual assault with a victim under 14 and statutory sexual seduction that involved a 14-year-old girl. There are at least five victims who have come forward alleging they had been victimized by Houser. Total bail amount is $1 million.

The deputy made contact with Patellos and spoke with a man who was with her. The woman gave the officer consent to search her purse. Inside the bag was a purple makeup bag with a zipper that had drug paraphernalia and a plastic baggie with a small amount of heroin. Bail: $2,500.
— A 40-year-old Simi Valley woman, Meaghan Tisinger, was arrested Thursday, 12:32 a.m. in the 500 block of North Carson Street on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and three lesser charges.
According to the arrest report, an officer made a traffic stop after a license plate check came back that the owner of the vehicle had a warrant for their arrest. The officer spoke with the woman and asked for her identification. She told the officer she didn’t have any. She then provided the officer with identifiable information. A check through dispatch showed she had two misdemeanor warrants for her arrest, contempt of court, issued out of Carson City Justice Court Jan. 27 and Feb. 20, 2015.
She was placed into custody. During a search of her purse an officer recovered a marijuana roach cigarette. At jail she was asked if she had any drugs on her. She told the officer did not. A deputy located a baggie of suspected methamphetamine concealed under her right breast.
She faces a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor charges of contempt of court and possession of marijuana. Bail: $5,366.

Prior to arrival the officer was advised the man who was returning the mower wasn’t the person who stole the mower earlier and that the man who stole the mower was outside waiting for the person who was returning it.
On arrival the officer checked the Walmart parking lot for the subject who was identified through his vehicle registration. He was arrested after officers observed a video where the man carried the mower out of the store over his shoulder earlier that day. Bail: $352.
