Carson City Sheriff's arrest log: Dayton man booked for underage gambling
A 19 year-old Dayton man was arrested Saturday morning at 5:04 a.m. in the 1900 block of North Carson Street on three misdemeanor offenses, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy reported, including minor under the age of 21 gambling, minor loitering where alcohol is served, and violation of bail conditions.
According to the arrest report, a Sheriff's deputy was conducting a business check at the North Carson Street location when contact was made with a gambling subject who appeared to be underage. A bar was also on the premises and in the vicinity of the gaming floor.
The gambling subject admitted he was under the age of 21, the report said, but he denied consuming any alcohol.
A records check of the subject confirmed he was currently an active client in the Carson City Department of Alternative Sentencing with a clause to obey all laws.
His DAS officer was notified and requested he be held for violation of bail conditions. The subject's probation was revoked and he was taken into custody, transported to the Carson City Jail for booking. Bail: $3,000.
