Vehicle wanted in Amber Alert may have been spotted in Carson City
A pink Lincoln Continental that is the subject of an Amber Alert today, may have been spotted in the Carson City area at around 11 this morning near Save Mart.
An alert has been issued after a kidnapping in the Carmichael, Calif., area. Carson City Sheriff's Officers have been advised to look for a Lincoln Towncar, according to dispatch. The vehicle is thought to be occupied by two adults, and a three-year-old child. If you see this vehicle that matches the description call 911.
Here's the following released this afternoon from Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Chuck Allen:
"Our agency is in the process of initiating an Amber Alert regarding a child and mother who were both abducted out of the Sacramento area this morning at gun point. No name or description of the mother or child or what the relationship is to the abductor.
"The abductor is described as a 27-year-old Hispanic male named Leon Cuahutemoc. He is described as 5’4” and weighing approximately 200 pounds.
"The vehicle is reported as a 1990 tan or mauve colored Lincoln Towncar bearing California license plate of 3JST733.
"He is to be considered armed and dangerous.
"Please dial 911 or *NHP if the vehicle is sighted."
